PHILADELPHIA -- Describing the opportunity as a "surreal feeling," a remorseful Michael Vick was introduced Friday as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, a fresh start for the disgraced quarterback who recently completed a nearly two-year prison sentence for bankrolling a dogfighting ring.

MY THOUGHTS: Considering what he's encountered throughout his career ever since the infamous dogfighting scandal, he is very lucky to receive the opportunity to yet again become part of the NFL. In my perspective, I never believed he was AS guilty as the media portrayed him to be, and thus it was disappointing to witness such a talented quarterback get penalized for his indirect involvement in the dogfighting industry. Nonetheless, I'm sure his anticipated yearly salary is more gratifying than his pay rate as a construction worker. Vick + construction work?! Um..I definitely look forward to seeing him on the turf again. LOL

NY Giants are still my team, though. :)
